In fact, their FAQ addresses the copyright claims of the AAP like <a HREF="http://www.wellcome.ac.uk/doc_wtd018855.html#P97_11105" REL="nofollow">this</a>: "An author's obligations to the Wellcome Trust will therefore, in almost all cases, pre-date any agreement with a journal."
